The Medical Simulation Centre at MGMCRI is fully equipped to offer both basic and advanced resuscitation training for various categories of healthcare workers, including doctors, nurses and technicians. The centre is equipped with CPR manikins, High Fidelity Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) simulators, Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), manual defibrillators and basic and advanced airway devices and manikins.

Ever since its inception in 2010, the medical simulation centre has been offering training in resuscitation skills to medical students, doctors in postgraduate training, doctors and nurses. Since June 2013, the centre has taken full-fledged efforts to achieve American Heart Association (AHA) accreditation to offer AHA certified training in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). AHA accredited BLS and ACLS certification courses are the most widely recognized in resuscitation training.

Medical Simulation Centre signed an agreement with the American Heart Association on 16th September 2014 and is now an accredited International Training Centre (ITC) of the AHA.
